All participants must be listed on the entry card. Botanical Arts Chairs are permitted to enter, provided they do not receive the completed entries in the mail.
- If forced to withdraw, the exhibitor must notify the Division Chair and the class consultant and find a substitute unless there is a waiting list for the class.

- Exhibitors may not use processed products or manufactured materials (e.g., couscous, pasta, tapioca, balsa wood, milled wood, toothpicks, loose glitter or thick coatings of resins or epoxy).
- Each entry must be the work of the exhibitor under whose name it is registered. The exhibitor must execute all handiwork.

An exhibit, which has been previously entered and did not place first, may be entered again if the piece is significantly altered.
- The Botanical Arts Chairs will review all mailed entries to verify that class specifications have been met. If time permits, an entry may be returned for correction.

SECTION D. BOTANICAL FORMS
Create a Fleurs des Siècles inspired by Jane Hutcheson. Arrangement and container will be displayed on a 6” square black acrylic cube. Arrangement should not exceed the perimeter of the cube and not be more than 8” high. Viewed from all sides. Please include photograph with entry.
Jane Hutcheson, impressed and inspired by the 17th and 18th century Vincennes porcelain flowers, made up arrangements of clay flowers that she displayed in the window of Alice Maynard’s needlework shop at 558 Madison Avenue in New York City. Gorham enthusiastically adopted the idea that Ms. Hutcheson make her creations in metal for their gift line.
“The Gorham Fleurs you will pick will last forever” was an enthusiastic advertising slogan Gorham chose to describe their Fleurs des Siècles gift line. The flower arrangements, produced from the early 1970s to mid-1980s contain an amazing variety of flowers, leaves, nuts, and berries. Each jeweled metal flower or leaf is handcrafted, and hand enameled over gold plate. These exquisitely arranged bouquets are tucked into sterling and gold-plated cachepots, authentic reproductions of antique porcelain vases, various baskets or blooming within Murano glass domes.
