The pristine condition of plant material and skilled use of color and texture create a pleasing contrast. The manipulated screening material dominates the design.

Judges' comments

The placement and manipulation of screening material effectively incorporates the element of space. The heaviness and concentration of green dianthus dominates the visual path in the design, effecting overall rhythm.

Judges' comments

The design is a clever and thoughtful interpretation of the artist's sculpture. Heaviness and incorporation of negative space in the top portion of design leads to an imbalance in the design.

Judges' comments

The manipulation of hala effectively mirrors the domelike form of the sculpture. Forward facing anthurium disturbs the visual path of design.
