The use of sepia tone is appropriate for these amber waves of grain. Lack of interest in the sky flattens an otherwise layered image.

The flowing textures of the wheat field and clouds lead us into this timeless prairie scene. Less cropping on the right would create more movement in the image.

This image tells a story of time and place. The stark rows of cotton stalks draw the viewer to the barn and levee. The vignetting detracts.

A very nice composition with repetitive lines and light draws the viewer up the hill. Sharper focus is needed throughout this image.
