Line, rhythm and pattern are created by the placement of the reflective components in this elegant Renaissance hair comb. Craftmanship is slightly affected by the placement of the raised tine on the left.

Renaissance art is ripe with Biblical imagery. The tree of knowledge, hidden in a forest, holds ripe fruit…is it forbidden? or perhaps offered as a coded message.

Rhythm and negative space in the upper portion of the design is visually effective. The heaviness of the comb bar dominates the design.
